Grand Case and its creole spirit
Grand Case is the most famous place of island for its gastronomic aspects. Indeed, along the beach, you will find a significant number of restaurants. Whether it’s for a barbecue of chicken, fish, ribs or lobster, the “lolos” are there to serve you and to seduce you with their more convivial and musical atmosphere. A real institution in Saint Martin.
If you are heading towards something more gourmet, you will have the choice. Indeed, many restaurants are present along the entire length of the street, some bordering the sandy beach, others and their gardens or inner courtyards. An impressive palette of styles and flavors, ready to delight your taste buds. You choose!
Every year in February, an animation enchants the street of Grand Case, it is the “Tuesdays of Grand Case”. Musical, commercial and dance animations are displayed. Lively and picturesque evenings await you. Do not miss!
The beach, when it is much less populated than the famous Orient Bay keeps all its charm in spite of everything. A more convivial atmosphere, far from the crowds. An ideal place to dip your feet in the water with family or just to admire the magnificent sunset while sipping a cocktail. The waters are calm and turquoise blue.
The architecture of Grand Case is always inspired by Creole, with its wooden huts and still retains its charm of the past, with its small discreet alleys directly overlooking the sea. A real change of scenery.
The locality of Grand Case also hosts the Espérance airport, which serves the surrounding islands such as Guadeloupe, Martinique and Saint Barthélemy. It does however benefit from all the services necessary for your journeys.
