The Founder. Yoan Maquerre
M.Y Real Estate SXM is also the story of its founder, Yoan Maquerre.
Originally from Lille, France, Yoan moved to Sint Maarten at a young age with no shortcuts and no safety net ; only determination, curiosity, and the desire to build something meaningful.
Before becoming a real estate professional, he worked in different industries, learned the island from the ground up, built relationships, and developed a deep understanding of people, culture, and opportunity.
This journey shaped his vision of real estate
Not as a volume business, but as a responsibility.
For Yoan, real estate is about listening, understanding motivations, and helping clients make informed decisions that still make sense years later — financially and personally.
